Plant Bingo + Pickleball Social at Matt's Pickle & Padel

Join Wander & Root at Matt's Pickle and Padel for Plant Bingo - an upbeat, plant-filled evening where we’ll play multiple rounds of bingo and give away some seriously good greenery.

After Plant Bingo wraps up in our Rally Room, we'll head to the courts for an open pickleball social until 9pm. Never played before? No problem! Our team will be on hand to walk beginners through the basics so everyone can jump in and have a blast.

Whether you're a seasoned player or picking up a paddle for the first time, we promise you'll have a great time. Did we mention that it's BYOB, too? Come for the plants, stay for the pickleball!

June 27th | 6-9pm
📍 Matt's Pickle and Padel  (301 Deer Run Rd, Sewickley, PA 15143)

🎟 What’s Included

  • 5 rounds of bingo

  • One bingo card per round

  • a dauber to use
  • multiple plant prizes awarded each round

  • A small take-home plant for every guest
  • time on the pickleball courts
  • Pickleball instruction for beginners!

🌱 The Prizes

We’re not talking tiny clearance plants.

Prizes throughout the night will include a mix of:

  • Rare houseplants

  • Large statement plants

  • Hanging baskets

  • Easy-care succulents & fan-favorite houseplants

Each round will feature multiple winners, and the final round will bring a little extra excitement.

🌿 What to Expect

We’ll play five rounds with different winning patterns. Between rounds, I’ll share simple, practical tips about the plants up for grabs so that you’ll learn how to care for them whether you win one or not.

It’s a little more high-energy than my typical hands-on workshops, but still welcoming, beginner-friendly, and full of good community vibes.

Refund Policy

Important Note: We’re excited to have you join us for the workshop! Please note that all sales are final and we can’t offer refunds if you miss the workshop. We understand that life can be unpredictable, but we have a limited number of spots available and we need to make sure we can cover our costs. Thanks for understanding!

Can people under 21 attend workshops?

Most of our workshops are open to all ages! The only exception would be if a venue has its own age restrictions (for example, certain bars or breweries). Anyone attending will need their own ticket since space is limited.
